Just going to post all the email screen shots I saved, (as well as his ridiculous voicemail) and let the masses decide on how to deal with some total tool like this in a business setting
Before you get into it (or not) let me clarify a few things and give you a quick synopsis on how I got to be where I am today (outside of poker)
I have a marketing and sales background...and have worked with small business owners of all kinds & trades for over 15 years.
Never in my entire professional sales career have I ever dealt with someone like Robert Pickering in any capacity
In my career, I've sold everything from cars, to burglar alarms door to door, yellow page ads, collected signatures for ballot initiatives, photo albums, page inserts for the L.A. Times, Morgan Stanley...spent 9 years as a merchant marine, worked as a waiter and a cabin steward on cruise ships.....been to 30 countries, met people from all races, religions.
Despite my multitude of character flaws, and occasional emotional outbursts, I've never had to deal with a toolbag extreme like this mutt

Over the last several years, I've become fluent enough with various aspects of web development to feel confident enough to approach small business owners to build simple, clean, and easy to navigate WordPress websites, and never promise more than I can deliver, charging a reasonable rate for services including social media platform development, SEO, and support.
If I land a client while prospecting that have demands exceeding what I can deliver....I outsource the work. But ultimately, I'm the one who is held accountable for what was promised to the customer.
With that said, no...
I'm not some master coder and/or programmer...but my marketing and content writing skills have evolved with a knowledge of keyword optimization to the level that far exceeds much of my industry competition
The way I see it, I provide a full arsenal of website design and numerous effective marketing strategies that work for small business owners (in good faith), with a specific timeline for development and launch.

OK enough fluff....lets cut to the chase.
A few months ago I'm cold calling skilled trade single business owners on Craigslist to hustle up a new client
I connect with Robert Pickering from 'Reliable Marine Services' in San Diego
we hit it off well.....I sold him for $1470.00 on our 2nd phone call.....(5) payments of $295.00
sweet...He ships his deposit
I'm a happy camper to have his business, and we are off the races.

He emails back a very generic response on his prelim design questionnaire, and I get to work coming up with a nice template for his fly by night 'mobile marine repair' failsite

It just occurred to me that most of you don't wan't to be bothered with these mundane details....but I did want to set the stage for the onslaught...
To put this into perspective....while I was working on RMS (Reliable Marine Services)...he sent me (2) more down payments of $295.00 for some underwater basket weaving or save the spotted owl sites his wife wanted...and some other site for his illegal EPA banned export tile company he is running out of Mexico

Basically after 6 weeks....(after he had a site design he LOVED)....I start getting these voicemails from him stressing out that his new company email hadn't been set up yet
yea no shit they aren't set up yet
I asked this guy over and over and over to send me his GoDaddy password
he refused for whatever reason, and then left me this voicemail...after refusing to pick up his phone anymore

Basically, everything was fine....he loves the RMS site....and then bam, gets a huge bug up his ass because he doesn't have his company email set up via my server
So I call him up to explain to him AGAIN (for the 3rd time) that he never sent me the correct password
