Blatant Gambling Scammer Christopher Mitchell (YouTube/Baccarat/Roulette/Sportsbetting)

This is my first post so please don’t jump all over me if I fuck it up. I’ve been stuck in Long Island, NY & I’m 38/Diabetic so thanks Druff for all the radio content. I’ve probably been listening for a solid 3 plus months at this point. Been trying to leave the house as little as possible. Just had to use 2 K from the bankroll on an elliptical machine I will prob use for the remainder of this quarantine & then never again. All so I don’t get out of this looking like Jabba the Hut.

While I was going through the YouTube rabbit hole one day I found this YT channel named “Change Your Life Vlog” with videos posted by “pro Gambler” Christoper Mitchell. Of course I already knew it’s a scam & I know this isn’t about poker but still thought bringing it to light can maybe save some suckers some money.

You all can check it out and will be amazed how transparent & what a shitty con man this joker is & I have no idea how YT hasn’t shut his ass down. He starts most videos holding a big stack of prop 100s with just a real one or two in the front. At first he was offering to personally coach people who come to Vegas his revolutionary “Martingale” (Yes he uses the word Martingale) way to make money playing Baccarat for $2,500. Then the videos became him asking for $1500 once the casinos in Vegas (he seems to be renting a condo in a Vegas) were closed. The caveat was this money had to be received by April 1.

Now in this latest video he has now decided to offer a total free roll for the sucker. He talks a lot of gibberish on these videos but around the 4:00 mark on this latest video he compares himself to the personal injury lawyers who doesn’t make money if you don’t make money. The great deal is he will go play baccarat with you at no charge and he will only take 50% of your winnings.

There’s videos made by apparently someone named Kevin Davis who was the guy who tried to expose Michael Morgenstern. For those who don’t know Morgenstern was the scammer behind Blackjack Army, but Morgenstern actually had some charisma & con man skills. Christopher Mitchell has no skill & again I don’t know how YT has him on the platform. BTW Kevin Davis alleges that Mitchell did gay porn years ago but I decided not to look for that. Anyways enjoy the shitty show this guy puts on.

Found his $500 BJ and Baccarat systems online. Looks like someone bought them both (for $750 special) and posted them when he realized he just got scammed.

Wow spending $750 for a sample at Costco would literally give you better bang for the buck. It’s hard as a gambler to not think what the hell is wrong with these people that fall for these scams. However, I guess if someone is desperate enough, not very bright & has no knowledge of gambling in general some people fuck up.

My mother got taken for $500 on one of those computer scams and although she was able to do a chargeback after she told me about it, she really took it to heart & felt awful for a while. I think some people are marks and some people are just caught up in a moment of weakness & vulnerability.

I know scammers like this guy hardly ever get punished legally. I am hoping this will be different for Postle. My main issue is with YouTube. They are constantly putting strikes on these poker vloggers videos & then a guy like this gets months and months on the platform and they don’t do shit.

All I can do is report him as a blatant scam as much as possible but just the fact he is on YouTube I’m sure lends him some credibility with a small portion of the public and that is really unfortunate. YouTube needs to do better.

This is hilarious. Definitely going to play at least parts of that video on the next radio show.

I am primarily a limit player & a few weeks back when you were talking about how when you are locked in, especially online, there’s a rhythm to the game. It struck me because when I am trying to pitch limit to many younger players I always point to the speed & rhythm of the game in addition to when their on the wrong side of a cooler it will cost them a bunch but they won’t get stacked.

That’s some great detective work Druff. It does seem that he had moved to Vegas right before quarantine thinking he was going to scam people with this Baccarat coaching scam. So a small silver lining to this lockdown is scammers like him have been affected. Makes me pretty annoyed to think if that is really his wife & baby in those videos that 1. He brought a child into this world 2. He just probably got a stimulus check for $2900 (12+12+5 for the kid). I am going to go out on a limb & say his adjusted gross income was low enough to qualify.

I am speculating a little with how the YouTube channel works. Seems like his videos hover around 1K views or so. A number of them are sure to come from fake profiles he has made. These fake profiles are clearly responsible for many of the positive comments like Druff outlined from the first video. However, he sure has a decent numbers of suckers its just hard to tell how many. What is alarming though is his like to dislike ratio. It is my understanding that you can either shut off likes/dislikes but you can’t manipulate the number of either if you allow them to stay. Of course every fake profile is leaving a positive comment & hitting the like button. His videos typically have a close like to dislike ratio but I haven’t seen one video yet where the dislikes are higher.

Again, I am speculating but I think his following is just small enough that he has been able to control things so far by constantly deleting negative comments. I would think he’s spending most of his day cleaning the comments up because I’ve never been lucky enough to see a bad comment. I am hoping that as light is shined on this scumbag this will change rapidly & he won’t be able to keep up with negative comments & dislikes once he posts a video.

I was thinking when it’s finally safe to go back to Vegas what would be great to say to this guy if by happenstance I would see him. Yelling scammer at him just wouldn’t be satisfying enough. Well now thanks to Druff’s top notch research skills I know what I would yell to him....

A lot of scammers use the Christian angle to scam people. In fact, this is often used by foreign e-mail scammers. The dating scammers pretend to be religious men or women, and the fake inheritance scammers pretend to be "reverends" or "ministers".

This is very effective because religious people tend to be far more trusting of other religious people, especially nowadays when religious people are often mocked by mainstream society.

While there are some very good and righteous people who are religious, there are sadly a lot of scammers and manipulators who feign deep religious commitment in order to take advantage of them.

I am pretty torn now. I wanted to make sure if Druff wanted to run with this on PFA Radio that he got the exclusive. Part of me thinks it’s time to try and blow this up on twitter and get his channel reported by enough people that YouTube takes it down. On the other hand since the chances of him ripping people off now are greatly diminished with the lockdown, a big part of me selfishly says let this fool keep posting his videos for our entertainment.
