$5,000,000 Freeroll: I'm Giving Away Seats

Im local. I dealt and played a lot during the boom years. Switch to the table game side for 15 years or so. Im out of the business now. You could definitely say Im over poker but Id been coming to the forums for so long that I kept coming even when I stopped playing. I hadnt played at the Wynn in so long that I didnt even know the poker room was at Encore. I get the itch occasionally, but usually talk myself out of playing. This event/opportunity may have rekindled the want to play a little. I realllllllly slowed down my gambling because I was losing touch with the value of money. Too much wasn't enough. Id lose 999,999 trying to get the extra 1 to get to a milly. Im doing a lot better now, but still cant sleep through the night a week straight without checking soccer scores from Indonesia.

Dude got my lucky chips and then drew $25k on the mystery bounty.

btw, worst trip reports in history. everyone was given an amazing freeroll b/c of their involvement here. no one put any effort into this. it could have been a good time.

Is anyone playing on Club WPT Gold yet? Seems like a beta version launched a week ago. There seem to be some bugs in the software. Xuan Liu has been live-streaming playing on the site this week. They are playing for sweeps coins (just like Global Poker).

Hello my friends. I ended up giving away $82,500 in seats, with $17.5k of that going to this community (code THOMAS).

104 people here used code THOMAS, so that was $168 EV per user.

But that was a long time ago, and it was not evenly distributed. So I will think of some ways to give more value to people who are playing on the site with my code.

I also want to point out that Srsly was generous to do this for the PFA community, as this is not a group known for heavy poker grinding, especially at this point.

Furthermore, code DOUG didn't exist yet (it didn't show up until April 2025), so it's not like you guys ended up choosing THOMAS over DOUG and are now regretting it. I don't know exactly how it works, but I'm assuming Polk is given a much bigger marketing budget because of his big name, but nothing like this was available at the time of this contest.

A small influencer who didn't promote their contest very aggressively. Nobody anyone here likely knows (and I don't know them either).

I didn't want to compete with PFA for any seats.
