I actually agree with willie. Mike posts on here that he is about to kill himself. Then decides to post about 20 more times about nonsensical crap. What part of leave the internet do you not understand? If you want to be a court jester I suppose go for it. I'm sure we can scrounge up 100 bucks to see you do bath salts if you want. Just don;t expect people not to laugh and make fun of you...

This I believe is the ever growing fallacy about mental health support. These facilities are the opposite of what most people need. Yes there are the very sick who need constant supervision but most need positive reinforcement and structure. Purpose in life is key and no mental health facility will provide that in a month or two. Yes, your doing your best but as I said previously, many simply need structure, discipline and responsibility. They don't get that in many places but there are a few.Quote:

let's see, today I cleaned two large bathrooms, weeded my folks backyard (yes the same folks who called the cops on me twice now) and went back and forth to storage to help my step dad carry hella boxes his otherwise destroyed hip would not be able to carry.
AAAAAAAND I walked my neighbors dog for them, then walked my two border collies, called my buddy in so carolina and chatted about his experience in the navy thus far, talked to my half sister on the phone about dad and my living situation, talked to my other neighbor about my living situation and rounded off the day optimistic overall that I will do great in the navy.
In between all of this i ran probably 3 miles and did ~150 pushups, crunches for days, over 80 pullups, just to maintain.
Rounded up some food, tonight I FEASTED on some pork spare ribs my neighbor found in his freezer and threw away (spotted them in the trash, baby jesus smiled on me) and found some frozen veggies to produce something resembling a dinner. The rest of the day I lived on granola bars and almonds.
Overall I am in a decent place mentally and I come online to download music almost 100%, you guys fail to realize the forums are NOT my #1 priority and happen incidentally while I am doing other shit.
Skatz is baaaaad and horrible for me? it's a forum, happens to have funnier smarter people than most, tapper for example is Godly online, but I can do with or without. i am not addicted, nor do I derive my self worth from what people tell me regardless of my reactions.
sorry betcheckbet, you are dead wrong about my not wanting help. I spent hours yesterday on the phone with a psych major about to get her masters and she convinced me to go to valley med as I do not have money a job or health insurance and I seemed unstable.
they basically turned me away (joint decision) because ANY SUCH TREATMENT like suicidal urges or needing psyche meds puts my entering the service highly in jeapordy. Right now, I have NO options, I am looking for full time work but let's be real, I am in no position to be working a stressful job barely making ends meet MONTHS before I can even get bennies good enough for meds. In the navy, I can focus my mind on being the best ME I can be in an environment where my talents are best utilized.
