The footage of hundred thousand dollar boats washed up into roads in New Jersey is incredible. Its underscores the scope of the event at the shore but ultimately its hard to forget these are hilariously wealthy parts of the country that got smacked.

And then they show some gorgeous 200 year old house sliding into the sea and suddenly its just sad again.
