I still think that perhaps they had enough evidence to search but not enough to charge.

It's also possible that the main goal was to shut the whole thing down, and while they still plan to file charges, they aren't that worried if it turns into a fugitive on the run situation.

I would think at this point Micon is fairly well off. He was 50% owner of seals, and he was talking about bitcoin when it was like 10 bucks.

As for going to Antigua, it's not a bad idea now because it really doesn't change anything for him as far as possible charges are concerned. However, when/if charges are laid, then it's a different story. It's more than just pissing the government off. It's another crime in and of itself.

In terms of his video, it was a bit ridiculous. To act like he was doing nothing wrong but just a victim of a "police state" is juvenile. And to say that they "stole my stuff" is downright idiotic. Also though I agree that 12 guys with guns is overkill, to say "why didn't you just call me I'm a reasonable guy". Implying he would totally co-operate, but then immediately ran to Antiqua, is lol worthy.

Not only did they offer US facing poker but offered it in the 2 states the others (including Ayre) willing chose to forgo just as a risk management decision.

A friend of mine who went to Penn State was friends there with a local small time pot dealer.....the cops used to "raid" his apartment once per month. He used to leave out about an ounce or weed.....the cops would come in, talk some shit, take the weed and leave. My friend is a musician and wrote a song about it called The Tie dyed FBI.

Micon got in at 18 bucks. Plus he's made a shit ton from swc rake. Additionally Micon gets to keep bitcoins from dead accounts (for those that don't remember SwC used to have a clause that after 6 months inactivity the casino could confiscate bitcoins). There's very little chance Micon is in that much financial difficulty except if he has difficulty liquidating the coins. Mison has also made comments in past interviews that financially is is very secure and didn;t need to worry about things like paying for his daughter's education.

I agree but Micon has always had that childish anarchist feel to him (like many young privileged white kids). He's always been about "sticking it to the man". I think the recent emergence of anonymous and bitcoin just fit into his core beliefs.

Id say it has more in common with the tribes subscribing to Liberty Dollars and so on. The OWS types are basically against wage inequality and the total lack of oversight into the world financial machine, so on, which lets face it is reasonable.
