I did some digging.
When I was using his phone to call mine his girls full name was on there, and I just happened to remember it.
Went to facebook and found his girl (wife)...
https://www.facebook.com/christy.brooksmoore
That Moore name I am guessing is his last, from marriage.
So his name is likely Ted Moore. Lives in Dundalk MD.
I will pay for any info people can get me on these two.
Me and my brother in law are going to arrange a "meeting" with him later telling him I am going to pay him for yesterday. It isn't going to go well for him, but I want every bit of personal info on him for future reference. I am going to get his tag number when he pulls up.
Paging A Brown.
Which brings up a good topic: what anti theft apps for smart phones are the best?
I just went looking for one for my phone and went with something called Prey for android, you can do all kinds of shit with it. I saw a couple that even let you erase your memory cards remotely if it gets stolen. Pretty useful, imo.
www.android.com/devicemanager
You can use that to remotely erase your phone.
I just finished setting up www.android.com/devicemanager , you can remotely lock your phone with a new password, you can get it to ring, and you can erase all data. You have to enable administrative rights first. I tested the ringing and locking and it works perfectly.
people lose phones all the time. Turn off the service and be done with it. To China's point, how the hell do you not have a screen lock anyway in 2013? Pretty stupid.
I would not worry about this one bit. If the guy was serious about finding you, he would not need your phone.
Buy a new phone and read the manual about password protection of your phone.
What's in the garage nbh?
This sounds like a great plot for thriller. Still not sure yet who the protagonist is though.
Page works fine, just checked.
Update...so I am bullshitting this dude all day about his money as he was bugging the shit out of me asking when he could get it. I tried to throw some bait out by telling him I was tied up getting in touch with all my business contacts all day and if he wanted something to do he could go back to the house and look for the phone. Told him $250 if he found it (yeah he was never gonna get that) but he didn't bite.
Now he is blowing me up again asking about work tomorrow and what not. Just gonna have to throw down the gauntlet and call him and bluff him about what is going to happen if I don't get my shit back. It won't work but whatever, at least I got $120 out of the deal I guess.
I got all my contacts back (or most of them at least) off my gmail account last night, but still am gonna have to manually enter them all into this old EVO I am using now.
I had a plan all hatched to beat his ass at my Dad's bar saying I would meet him there to give him the money but others have talked me out of it unfortunately. I would have all the witnesses I need on my side, and I was gonna try to piss him off so he swung first and then about 5 heads would come out and handle business.
Everyone is like "it is just a phone" but fuck that shit I hold grudges and always get payback.
I know where his wife's mother lives, where his wife works, and other stuff he told me while we were working. I'm gonna keep all that in my back pocket for now to use at a later time if I need to.
>35% chance he didn't even steal it and your dumb ass left it somewhere. But go to his mom's house man.
Yeah their is always the chance.
One solid option would have been if NBH and this guy were in this same vehicle or at the same place before he left to have the guy call NBH phone with his to see if he could find it. By this you find out so much whether it fell under the seat OR if villain guy refuses to make the call then he's the thieve 100%.
0% chance he didn't take it. I know where my phone is at all times. I had it at about 2:30pm in my truck eating, by 4:30 it vanished. Was sitting right in the cigarette holder compartment, where it is every time it isn't in my pocket. He was at and around my truck right before I noticed it was gone, while I was at the back of property where I could not see my truck with the house blocking my view.
He was also seen running back to his car (sprinting actually) after a neighbor heard a phone ring at about that time late in the afternoon.
