the insane, incredible thing about all this is we could have simply bargained for china to take taiwan and ended up with african rare earth rights and a stable, peaceful europe with russia and north korea stuffed into a fucking box in the attic.
but somehow, the great dealmaker convinced china to just say fuck it and tank the dollar and divest itself of our banking system and its still going to get taiwan because we will have our hands full sending our best and brightest to defend israels access to syrian fresh water.
