What i do know is i just got off the phone with a few different places and this is Identity theft.

I have a copy of the check here, as shown and he used my name and address, but switched the numbers of the account in order to get it cashed. I just filled out an affidavit concerning this.

This fucker is going down.

ok so cliff notes:

I lose a bet to cla and send him a check for 100$

I win two 100$ bets against cla and put a stop payment on the chec i sent him.

cla receives the check and tries to cash it at wells fargo.

cla gets denied at wells fargo.

cla then changes the account and routing number on the check, but keeps my name and info on there.

he cashes said check at walmat for 100$

walmart tries to get the money and can not.

they send my name to collections for 100$ + a 25$ service fee.

I call the debt agency and inform them of what has happened.

They look up the info and realize the checking and routing number on the check do not macth mine.

They have me fill out a forgery affidavit and have it notorized and mailed into them.

my name and charges are cleared.

cla gets investigated for identity theft over a 100$ bet.

Didn't you say in post #241 that you had a copy of the check. How can you not be sure how he did it? You must be able to tell if it's a totally different check or what he altered or how he did it.

The same exact thing I am looking at is what I posted. It has VOID stamped all over the check as you see, and at the bottom it has totally different numbers than what are on my check, as far as account number and routing number. Also the name signed is not mine, I have no idea who the fuck signe the bottom right of the check. I just know that's not my name or signature.

Okay, I didn't realize you posted it as part of that letter from the lawyer. I missed it.

He was sure desperate for that $100 and whatever else he tried to get from members here.

No money in his car detailing obv.

He probably used a Walmart money center kiosk and never talked to a real person.

Hopefully the debt place actually looks into it.

Affidavit sent in with notorized copy of check and copy from my bank where it shows check was canceled. ANother paper from bank showing Chris Allred tried to cash the check and was denied prior to taking it to Walmart.
