Yes, I did bring my smaller generator down from Nor Cal in case I need it here or Druff needs it. I do have 1-2 extra flashlights, buit he doesnt need one as he has his Streamlight. But I do have 1-2 extras if needed.Quote:

Had to throw away a bunch of food, just like in November. 54 hours was too long, even with the coolers.
You get no notifications when it's going off or coming back on. You're completely in the dark... literally and figuratively. It's a complete joke that they can't at least communicate with the public.
Only three good things to report:
1) Still not near any of the fires.
2) The refrigerator manufacturer backed down and has agreed to send Russians to fix it for free. In fact, the Russians would have been here now, but I cancelled them because there's no power, so obviously no way to diagnose/fix.
3) The big power block I bought last week (4x bigger than the one I already have), projected to arrive 1/16, is actually coming tonight. So I'll have a little extra power this time.

My fridge began leaking a few months ago. I had no idea how old it was, did not remember, I guess 7 years or so. After a week or toweling up water, I just went to Home Depot and bought another one for like $1400 and they removed the old one. I was not aware there was such a thing as refrigerator repair men any longer, its akin to someone I guess fixing your washer or dryer or something. At what point in life do you stop being so cheap you just buy new shit? I knew a guy who was so cheap is was embarrassing, he died of cancer at age 50.
