Jim Irsay is dead, owner of Colts at age 65

No cause of death, but he battled opiates for many years. He was a weightlifter and tried to make the Olympics many years ago, had to drop out and had many surgeries. My cousin died of opiates, he was in law school and was in a water skiing accident, leg surgery, and took opiates and it just unraveled from there, found him behind a dumpster a few years later, needle in arm completely emaciated. It really is almost impossible to stop artificial dopamine once you start. Really only Eric Clapton is the only documented case of stopping. Even the gal from Star Wars quit for 20 years and went back to the dope. Stay away from that shit.

The thing about abusing opiates is it re-wires your brain. There is this thing called dopamine which is really what gives you pleasure. Like sex or even taking a hot shower on a cold day. When you take opiates it replaces dopamine and you now have the synesthetic version which is much more powerful. I could go on explaining this but the capacity of this forum would be completely overwhelmed with the explanation so I am not going to waste my time.

65 is wildly young for a billionaire thats like the average life span of posters here

Says he wants the daughters to own the team but those estate taxes have to be insane. I would assume he used the best financial planners to lessen the blow.

The collection of stuff he has obtained over the years reportedly had a billion dollar offer, which he turned down.
