For those won’t don’t know she was doing the Michelle Jenneke dance who is a cultural icon in New Zealand.

Australia and New Zealand have similar struggles in the "colonizing whitey versus Native people" realm as US and Canada do.

However, in New Zealand Maoris are very prominent due to a relatively high percentage of the population -- 17.3%. In the US, only 2% of the population is considered Native, and some of that consists of Elizabeth Warren types who don't have much (or any) Native blood.

Maoris are a higher percentage in New Zealand than black people are in the US.

Problem is these two guys played multiple games for the 'Maori' All Blacks





Maori is anyone with a very very very small percentage of Maori blood or pretty much just decides to identify as one since I've been alive. A lot of the people assumed to be Maori are other pacific islanders mainly Samoans (More live in NZ than in Samoa itself)
